ABOUT THE COUPLAND FIRE DEPARTMENT
We were founded in 1979 and have been providing services to our community for the past four decades.
The department is staffed entirely by volunteers, responding to fires, automobile accidents, medical emergencies and other incidents in Coupland and the surrounding district (ESD10).
We also cooperate with neighboring volunteer departments in Taylor, Thrall, and Weir, through an "auto aid" agreement. Together we assist on calls across these local communities, providing better coverage than a single department could do on its own.
We rely on and appreciate all the help we recieve from local residents and businesses, without you we wouldn't be able to provide the services we do. Thank you.
We also look forward to seeing you at any of our fundraisers and Emergency Service District meetings.
If you're interested in volunteering to serve your community, we're always on the look out for additional manpower/womanpower. Take a look at our Volunteer section and get in touch.
